Popularly known as the Queen of the Hills and is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet. Established by Tibetal Buddhist Monks and followers of Dalai Lama, the monastery is famous for the 100 feet stupa founded by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche. This monastery also known as The Great International Tashi Gomang Stupa and is situated just 6 km away from the main town. This monastery also contains five kinds of Buddhist relics.
Rohini is a tourist spot located closely to Siliguri. At a distance of about 25 km from Siliguri, Rohini is located on the new road being constructed to connect Siliguri with Kurseong. In the past Rohini was famous for its Tea Garden situated at Lower Rohini. Today Rohini draws hoards of tourists on its own due to the beautiful natural environment and the beautification work undertaken by Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council. Sevoke Kali Mandir or Sevokeshwari Kali Mandir is located near Coronation Bridge near Siliguri, midway to Kalimpong. It is about 23 KMs from Siliguri town. Sevoke Kali Temple is very close to banks of river Teesta and has lush greenery all round. Temple is visited both by pilgrims from far off places as well as tourists and provides amazing view of mount Kanchenjunga from here as well. Temple gets thronged with pilgrims during Navratri and Durga Puja festival.

The multi-ethnic composition of Dooars, the variety of its languages and the undulating green carpet landscape which soothes the traveler’s eyes has their roots in Tea. Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary is a reserved forest area that initially started as a game sanctuary where children took rides. The entrance to the sanctuary is located in Sukna which is about two & half hours drive from Darjeeling. If you are coming from New Jalpaiguri (NJP), it takes about 45 minutes to reach the gate. The sanctuary is spread over varying elevations and across 158 sq. km of forest area. The altitude varies from 500ft. at the southern area near Sukna and rising up to 4,300ft towards the northern area near a place called Latpanchar.
International Society for Krishna Consciousness, more popularly known as ISKCON Temple, is one of the prominent places of interest in Siliguri. Sited at Gital Para, ISKCON Temple Road, the temple is characterized by purity, serenity and sublime beauty. Also known as Hare Krishna Movement, ISKCON temple in the city is the biggest Krishna centre in the whole of the Northeast India. Completely dedicated to Lord Krishna, the temple attracts thousands of devotees from all over the country.
Sikkim is the top most tours & travel destination in India. It is one of the most politically stable and peaceful place in India. Tsomgo Lake is a two-hour drive from Gangtok on the Gangtok-Nathu La highway. About a kilometre-long and 50 metres deep, Tsomgo Lake is popular as a tourist attraction and a holy site as well. It’s encircled by lush green landscapes on all sides. A small Shiva temple, some food stalls and several beautiful plants and flowers can be seen at the Tsomgo Lake. Tourists can also enjoy a yak ride around the lake. On days without sunshine, you'll often see the Changu Lake hidden in a veil of mist.
The Tashi Viewpoint is one of the best places to go to with a pair of binoculars, water and some sandwiches. From the Tashi Viewpoint, you get the perfect view of the snow covered peaks of Kanchenjunga. The Phodong Monastery and the Labrang Monastery are also easily visible from here. The Tashi Viewpoint was commissioned to be built by the late king of Sikkim - Tashi Namgyal.
